Tony was raised in Monterey,
California where he attended Monterey High School and he spent his
summers working as a laborer for a local construction company. The
work ethic and character of his co-workers during that time have
never been forgotten by Tony and his work with the hard working
laborers in California have molded Tony into the lawyer he is today.
Tony selected California
Polytechnic, in San Luis Obispo, California for his undergraduate
studies. He received a full ride athletic scholarship for Men's
Tennis and served as a two year team captain. While at California
Polytechnic, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial
Technology and minors in Business Administration and Psychology.
To finance his education, Tony worked at Albertsons grocery store
and was a proud member of the United Food and Commercial Workers
Union- Local 1036.
Tony received his law
degree from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
Tony graduated cum laude, held an editorial position on the International
Journal of Global Legal Studies and was Vice-President of the Asian
Pacific American Law Student Association. He also volunteered time
to the Mental Health and Disability Legal Clinic and Family Law
Clinic. He represented underprivileged clients in numerous hearings
and secured favorable outcomes for each and every client. Tony continues
to help the less fortunate and is active in performing pro bono
services.
Before joining Strellis
and Field, Tony worked as a summer associate for the defense litigation
firm of Kightlinger and Gray. After experiencing the defense side
of legal disputes, he knew his heart was with representing those
that he had worked with throughout his life. Tony is proud to say
he now works for those that he has spent his life working side by
side with.
Tony is relentless and
aggressive in seeking justice for his clients and takes pride in
making his clients familiar with the entire legal process in order
to make it less intimidating. Tony is passionate about maximizing
compensation for his clients so when the cases are resolved he is
seen as a client’s lawyer and friend for life.
